Far Cry 3 Original Patch.dat Patch.fat Download

Hello friends, In this post we will be discussing the process of patching the original Far Cry 3 with a two different types of patches. We will also give you a walkthrough of how to use them to patch your original Far Cry 3. The first patch we will discuss is the Patch.dat, which can be found on GameDB's Forums and there is a tutorial for it on their Wiki . The second type of patch that we will discuss is the Patch.fat which can be found in this link . The Patch.fat also requires you to have the original Far Cry 3 files present on your console. If you don't, then please download the original file from either Uplay or Steam and place it in the appropriate data_win32 directory. Now let's take a look at each of these patches and their respective requirements:Patch.dat Instructions:Download the patch files from GameDB's Forums and copy them to your USB stick/zip drive/etc. Just place the files into the data_win32 directory. Once you have copied the files to that directory, then you will need to open up your program of choice and I recommend using either Horizon or MultiMAN with this. Then navigate to the select folder and select it and choose patch and select the Patch.dat file you just placed in the directory.Patch.fat Instructions:Download this file from here . Now you will need to put your original Far Cry 3 install somewhere where it can be accessed easily, like a USB stick/zip drive/etc... Once you've done that, place the entire contents of this zip (not just patch. fat) into the directory you placed the game's original files in. Once you've put all of that together, then you will need to run Horizon or MultiMAN and choose the "Select" folder and load it up. Then choose Patch and select Patch.fat so that your game is patched with this patch.fat file. You can use this same method to patch Far Cry 2 or Far Cry 3D (which uses DCIM). NOTE: This method only works if your original files are in the same data_win32 folder where you used to place the patch file (i.e. if you used the data_win32 folder to place the patch file, then you will need to put all of your original files in that folder. Now that both of these patches are installed, all you need to do is boot up your game and see which one works best for you. If it worked with Patch.fat, then exit out of Horizon or MultiMAN and exit out of game. Then move your original Far Cry 3 files back into the data_win32 directory so that the game can see them again. eccc085e13
